About me
It is wonderful to reach out to you through this website! My name is Rishabh, and I started this blog in 2024 in an effort to get my thoughts out there. Granted that my mind is no Disneyland, I try to make my posts thoughtful, informative, or funny. I also see this as an avenue to meet new people, so please feel free to reach out; it’ll make my day.
A little bit about me – I’ve had a rather unconventional trajectory growing up. I dropped out of school in the middle of 11th grade to pursue a degree in electronics engineering. And after six years and two degrees in electronics engineering, I realized that I did not enjoy engineering. Instead, I had a lot more fun making music and working for my startup during those six years. In 2020, I moved to the United States to pursue something I did enjoy: Business and Management. I spent two memorable years in the vibrant but small town of Durham in North Carolina, then moved to Washington, D.C., for work. Not too long ago, in July of 2025, I moved to the other side of the pond in London, where I currently reside. While I’m passionate about many things, my top three would likely be people, music, and airplanes, and in that order.
At my core, I’m a musician, an aspiring chess hustler, and a very typical (almost benchmark) INFJ personality type.
One of the essays on my grad school application required me to write 25 random things about myself, and this was an activity I profoundly enjoyed. In honor of that essay, here are five random things about me:
- I’ve had the same group of friends since kindergarten.
- I have a list (or an Excel sheet) for everything, including a list of all the lists I have.
- My wardrobe is composed of black and white only. It saves me the cognitive overload from deciding what to wear every morning.
- I don’t experience jet lag.
- In 2021, I watered a plant for six months and later discovered that it was not a real plant.
